Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southwest Virginia’s Mother’s Day Fundraisers
Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southwest Virginia (RMHC of SW VA) On Mother’s Day, moms staying at the Ronald McDonald House probably won’t remember it’s their day as they rush to the hospital to be with their critically ill or injured child. The Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southwest Virginia is all about taking care of moms by relieving the financial burden of lodging and food so all they have to worry about is being a mom. This year, RMHC of SW VA offers three ways to make the women in your life feel special in a meaningful way.
Ginger’s Jewelry will hold a Jewelry Sale at the Ronald McDonald House on Thursday, May 10 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Have fun shopping estate and vintage jewelry, including David Yurman, Phillip Gavriel, John Hardy and one-of-a-kind designer pieces, as well as new jewelry. Buyers will receive a free gift with each purchase. Full or partial proceeds from the sale of your old or broken gold and silver jewelry may be offered as a donation on the day of the sale. Tours will be offered and parking available on the street.
From May 1-12, pamper the special woman in your life by booking a Diva Pedicure with Polished by Claire V. Mention Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southwest Virginia and a portion of the proceeds will go to help mothers of critically ill children and their families stay close when they need it the most.
Finally, your gift for Mother’s Day will honor both your own mom and the love and sacrifice of all the moms staying at the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southwest Virginia when you donate in honor of the special women in your life or in memory of women who made an impact on your life.
