At Applebee’s, Happy Hour will become Happy Month during October. Apple Investors Group, a franchise partner of Applebee’s® Neighborhood Grill + Bar, is making a bold move in the market: offering its best-selling 10 oz. Margarita, served on the rocks, for a buck for an entire month. The aptly-named DollaRita is available during all open hours in the restaurant and bar during the national celebration of Applebee’s Neighborhood Appreciation Month.
“We are proud to be a part of the neighborhood and want to show our appreciation of our valued guests with this incredible deal,” said Andy Patel, managing partner of Apple Investors Group. “We want to see our neighbors more often and our DollaRitas will give us the opportunity to do just that.”
The DollaRita is the brainchild of Chris Dharod, Chief Operating Officer of Apple Texas, a subsidiary of SSCP Management, owned by Dallas businessman and philanthropist Sunil Dharod. Chris Dharod was looking for a way to treat his neighbors with a knock-out offer during the sizzling summer Texas heat of July. The campaign resulted in more margaritas sold than in any month in the franchise partner’s history. The DollaRita idea proved so successful that nearly 2000 Applebee’s have adopted the Apple Texas-inspired promotion as its own in October as well.
The DollaRita isn’t the only fun Applebee’s is having in October. Long Island Ice Tea lovers are in luck too, with $2 LITs all month as well. Both the LIT and DollaRita are perfect for washing down All-You-Can-Eat Boneless Wings, Riblets and BBQ Chicken Breast (served with fries and coleslaw), available for $12.99 during October.
For more information, guests are encouraged to call their local Applebee’s.
