Families looking for something fun to do this weekend can visit the Salem Museum for free for one of a kind experiences.
This weekend, visit our Hands-On History station to learn about United States Military history. See items from the Revolutionary War to World War II and beyond. Visitors can put on a glove and hold history in their hand.
The Museum has five floors of exhibits for visitors to experience. Learn about Salem’s early history, how world events affected the local area, and times Salem and Roanoke Valley citizens made impacts on national and international events.
The Salem Museum is free to visit, open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m.-4 p.m., and located at 801 E. Main St.
