Last Friday, April 21, Governor Ralph Northam threw out the first pitch before the game. As part of Autism Awareness Night, the Salem Red Sox donned custom-made jerseys against their opponents, the Myrtle Beach Pelicans. The Red Sox went on to win the game 9-3.
