The Salem High softball team will open Region 4D “sub-region” play next Monday, June 2nd, at the James I. Moyer Complex. The Spartans are the number two seed and will host Amherst at 6 pm.
Salem is the River Ridge District champion at 13-1 and the Spartans finished with a 17-4-1 overall regular season record. The softball south division sub-region finals are scheduled for June 4, and the winner of that game is assured a spot in the state tournament.
