Individuals who drove down Main Street Tuesday morning around 7:30 a.m. likely noticed the firefighters, police officers and EMS personnel in the Hardee’s parking lot.
Said one restaurant employee after safely removing everyone from the building, “We had people doing work on our roof yesterday and one person made a minor mistake that caused a small fire. We immediately got it down but it ended up catching fire again this morning. Within minutes of calling the City of Salem, everything was taken care of.”
No one was injured, and the estimated costs are still being determined.
