Spartans Win Class 4 at “G-Town”

The Salem High competition cheerleaders took first place in Class 4 at the “G-town Throwdown” cheer competition at Glenvar High last Saturday. The host Highlanders performed as exhibition.

Other first places went to Auburn in Class 1, Lee in Class 2, Lord Botetourt in Class 3 and Patrick Henry in class 5. Stuart’s Draft was first in the jayvee class while Northside won the Middle School unrestricted class and William Fleming won the Middle School restricted class. The William Fleming Colonels won the Recreation class.

Salem was scheduled to compete on Wednesday of this week at the Battle at the Draft at Stuart’s Draft High School. Glenvar’s next competition is October 18 at Jefferson Forest.
