The Salem Police Department reported the following people were arrested and charged between April 11-17. Arrest indicates an accusation and defendants are presumed innocent unless found guilty in court. Police do not release the names of persons under the age of 18.

April 11 – Nathaniel R. Dixon, 20, public intoxication; Peggy Y. Weaver, 73, hit and run; Alicia M. Malin, 22, possession of marijuana; William S. Goad, 32, possession of marijuana, failure to appear; Daryl L. Harris, 47, public intoxication
April 12 – Keith Smith, 37, aggravated assault, strangulation; Alvin L. Howard, 46, violation of probation; Michael A.. Rose, 53, domestic assault and battery; Jason D. Bailey, 39, shoplifting
April 13 – Michael G. Connor, 20, public intoxication, illegal possession of alcohol; Marcus C. McCue, 63, interdicted person
April 14 – Amanda D. Gray, 35, grand larceny; Frederick L. Haibon, 36, public intoxication; Schuyler E. Adams, driving under the influence, driving suspended, two charges of possession of a controlled substance
April 15 – Sandra L. Manning, 51, public intoxication, possession of a controlled substance
April 16 – Josiah R. Branham, 26, public intoxication, obstruction of justice
April 17 – Tyler M. Bannister, 23, domestic assault and battery; Frederick L. Haibon, public intoxication

April 12 – Aggravated assault, strangulation; shoplifting, 800 block of W. Main Street; grand larceny, 1600 block of Apperson Drive
April 13 – Illegal use of credit cards, 100 block of Electric Road
April 14 – Burglary, non-residence, 1000 block of W. Riverside Drive; grand larceny, 100 block of Otter Avenue; possession of a controlled substance, 0 block of W. Main Street
April 15 – Possession of a controlled substance, 800 block of W. Main Street
