- Glenvar Rotary Club meets 12:15 – 1:15 p.m. for lunch in Richfield Retirement’s Recovery and Care Center cafeteria, first floor. Guests welcome.
- Knights of Columbus hosts bingo for charity. Proceeds support local charities including RAM House, Madonna House, the Roanoke Rescue Mission, Saint Francis House, food pantries and various youth projects. Games are played from 5:30 – 9:30 p.m. at Gator Hall, located at 5301 Williamson Road, near Happy’s Flea Market.

The Salem Terrace Health & Wellness Fair will take place from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Blood glucose testing, and balance assessments among other resources will be available. The predetermined schedule is as follows: 1 p.m. – Alzheimer’s Association presentation Love Your Brain, 2 p.m. – Kennedy Health & Wellness presentation Nutrition & Aging and 3 p.m. – Seated Yoga Demo.

Cruise-In and Movie Under the Stars is a fund-raiser for the Missions Department, in partnership with the church’s Music and Creative Ministry. Proceeds will benefit a mission trip to the Philippines. Cars, trucks and motorcycles are invited to participate in the cruise-in and movie. The evening also features plate dinners for $7.50 and the outdoor showing of Cars 3. Snacks will be available for the movie for .50 to $3.00.
