The Carolina Virginia Collegiate League championship baseball tournament will be held August 2-5 at Rich Park in Mocksville, NC.

The Fuquay-Varina Twins earned the tournament’s top seed and go into the tourney winners of 11 consecutive games.  The number one seed Twins will play the eighth seeded Carolina Pirates in the final game of the day at 7 pm on Thursday, August 2.

The defending CVCL Champion Kernersville Bulldogs earned the second seed and play the seventh seeded Roanoke Rails in the first round at 1 pm.  Other first round pairings include third seeded North Wake Fungo battling the sixth seeded Deep River Muddogs in the tournament’s first game at 10 am while the fourth seeded Catawba Valley Stars take on the fifth seed Charlotte Crushers at 4 pm on Thursday.

The championship game in the double elimination tournament is scheduled for Sunday, August 5.
