The William Byrd soccer girls are hoping to hit some net tonight after being shut out two games in a row.
The Terriers played at Salem last week and dropped a 5-0 decision. Then, on Tuesday, they played host to Hidden Valley and dropped a 6-0 decision.
“We played a really good first half but struggled in the second half,” said coach Molly Cox.
The Terriers fell to 1-3-1 with the two losses and they’ll get another shot at Salem tonight with a 6 pm game at Vinton’s Patterson Stadium. Salem does not have a jayvee team.
Byrd will be back in action Friday with a game at William Fleming, and next Tuesday the girls will host Staunton River.
