The Salem High volleyball team will be in Pulaski County tonight to take on the Cougars in a River Ridge District matchup. The jayvee game will begin at 5:30 pm with the varsity to follow.
After losing their first three matches Salem broke into the win column with a four set victory over Christiansburg at Salem High last Thursday. The Spartans won 25-20, 32-30, 15-25 and 25-21.
Kennedy Scales led the Spartan attack with nine kills, 17 digs, two blocks and three aces. Annika Bryan had seven kills and two blocks and Reese Redford had 21 digs and five aces.
The Spartans were back in action on Tuesday of this week and fell to Patrick Henry. Salem is now 1-4 on the spring season.
