The Roanoke College volleyball team began a stretch of 10 straight road matches this week that won’t see them play again at home until October 24. Roanoke started the stretch Tuesday with a four set win at Ferrum to improve to 8-6 overall and 2-3 in the ODAC.
The Maroons dropped a four set match to Eastern Mennonite at the Cregger Center last Saturday, 25-18, 24-26, 30-28, 25-17. Rylee Mayer had a team-high 13 kills against the Royals with Peyton Kirchner also reaching double-digit kills with 11. Kennedy Clemmer had 16 digs while Jordan Gorman had 10. Kylee Draper had her seventh double-double with 21 assists and 10 digs.
The Maroons are at Virginia Wesleyan on Friday.
