The Glenvar Middle School volleyball team lost for the first time last week while Andrew Lewis went 1-2 in the past week.
Glenvar saw their nine match winning streak come to an end with a two set loss to Clifton Middle last Thursday, 25-19, 25-21. The Highlanders bounced back on Monday to defeat Cave Spring in three close sets, 25-23, 20-25 and 15-13 to improve to 10-1 overall.
Lewis lost to Hidden Valley and Blacksburg last week but bounced back to defeat Northside on Monday. The Wolverines are 8-6 and have clinched a winning season as their last game is at home today against Cave Spring.
Glenvar will host Christiansburg today and travel to Blacksburg Monday, October 3rd.
