The Glenvar Middle School track team will host a meet at Highlander Stadium this Saturday. The “Battle on the River” will begin around 9 am with gates opening at 8 am.
The Highlanders have had some outstanding performances on the middle school level thus far. According to milestat.com, Grayson Harris ran the number one time in the State of Virginia for Middle School Boys in the 300 meter hurdles. Ava Poindexter also has the top girls’ triple jump in the state as well.
