The Roanoke College baseball team is 19-16-1 after downing Guilford College in an Old Dominion Athletic Association baseball game at Salem Memorial Ballpark Tuesday, 11-7.

Parker Stallard had three hits, including a triple, and drove in two runs for the Maroons against the Quakers. Nick Capps picked up the win in relief with two scoreless innings on the mound.

The Maroons have just three games remaining in the regular season before the ODAC tournament begins on May 3rd. Roanoke was scheduled to host Pfeiffer University in a non-conference game on Wednesday, then travel to Virginia Beach Saturday for an ODAC doubleheader with Virginia Wesleyan beginning at noon.

The Maroons hosted Shenandoah University at Calfee Park in Pulaski last Saturday with the Salem Red Sox playing at home. Roanoke dropped both ends of a doubleheder, 12-4 and 10-9.

Kyle Moshier, Hayden Giordano, Corey Coogan, and Nate Prince all posted two hits in the second game and Moshier had a triple and a home run. The sophomore now has four long balls on the year.
