The Roanoke College swim team completed the regular season with a meet against Southern Virginia at the Rockbridge Aquatic Center last Saturday. The RC men took a 153-84 win while the women tied, 121-all.
The men won nine events, including two relays. The Maroons’ 200 medley relay team of Jack White, Morgan Taylor, Tyler Hill and Dyllan Hartman started off the meet with a win in 1:38.94 and the foursome of Peyton Meyer, Ryan Franceys, Hartman and Hill teamed up to win the 200 free in 1:31.31. Franceys won both the 100 and 200 freestyle events.
The women won seven races. Halle Schart won the 50 yard breaststroke in 33.07 and the 500 free in 5:27.40. Carter Satterfield won the 100 breast in 1:13.78 and the 200 IM in 2:19.41.
The Maroons are now off until the ODAC championships in Greensboro, NC on February 11.
