The Roanoke College men’s volleyball won their first ODAC match of the campaign as they defeated league newcomer Shenandoah, 3-0, at the Cregger Center in Salem Saturday. The Maroons improved to 2-0 overall and were scheduled to host Randolph College on Tuesday of this week.
Cade Kinne paced RC in kills with eight while posting a .500 hitting percentage. Michael Cummins and Pierce Faulcon weren’t far behind, tallying seven and six kills. All three of Roanoke’s setters for the match hit double digit assists. Johnny Moran led the way with 17, followed by Gabe Fabbro with 12, and Leo Houser with 11.
After Tuesday the Maroons are off for 10 days before traveling to Pittsburgh, PA on January 30 to play Chatham University.
