Little Critters Petting Zoo: May 16 at 10am-noon

Let your excitement grow for the Unearth a Story! summer reading program at Salem Public Library at the Little Critters Petting Zoo on Saturday, May 16 from 10am-noon. Come hang out with some furry friends on the library lawn! Pre-register for the Summer Reading Challenge and pick out a free book!

Salem Public Library Presents: D&D: Spelljammer Academy

Friday, May 29, 3:30pm. Grades 8-12. Spelljammer Academy: Session 0: Prepare for our exciting summer Dungeons & Dragons (D&D) campaign with this session 0! Learn about the mechanics of playing D&D 5e and the Spelljammer setting, build your character, and get ready for a lot of fun. There will be four summer sessions (Fridays, June 12, 26, July 10, and July 24 from 2-4pm). Register for session 0 at salemva.libcal.com

Thursday, May 28, 6pm. End of the World Book Club (Horror/Sci-Fi) Theme for this month: Space, the Final Frontier: Exploration, Terraforming, Colonization. Choose a book you would like to read and discuss that matches the theme.

Friday, May 29, 6pm-8pm. Silent Book Club at Salem Library. Join us after the library closes to read uninterrupted in a quiet, pressure-free environment. Refreshments provided. Register at salemva.libcal.com.
