Andrew Lewis girls win track meet at Cave Spring

The Andrew Lewis track teams competed at Cave Spring last Wednesday.

The girls were led to victory by triple winner Tiffany McLaughlin. She won the 100m and 200m dashes along with the long jump.

Kalei Memmer again won the discus to remain undefeated for the season. Kalei and Jackie Magis tied for first in the shot.

Other winners included Emma Chamberland in the 1600 meter run and Christina Cummings in the Triple Jump. Emily Johnson, Elena Sable, Zoe Prosser, Lina Prillaman, Kaitlyn Creger, Ayanna Haupt, Kaitlyn Crumpacker, and Moriah Gahl were all part of winning relay teams.

The boys’ team was led by double winner Amarri Edwards. He won the 400 and 200 meter dashes. Other winners included Walker Chambers in the 1600, Owen Halverson in the 800 meter, and Nash Lakin, who won the triple jump. Nathan Helems, Brayden Taylor, Marco Medozza, Seth Long, Tommy Henezy, Aaron Peters, and Sam Miles were all part of winning relay teams.

Lewis was scheduled to have a home meet on Wednesday against Northside.
