The Salem Police Department reported the following people were arrested and charged between September 19-24. Arrest indicates an accusation and defendants are presumed innocent unless found guilty in court. Police do not release the names of persons under the age of 18.

September 19 – Randy C. Turner, 58, 3 charges of embezzlement; Zachery L. Hannah, 32, grand larceny, criminal trespass; Gabriel L. Wimmer, 18, failure to appear; Travis A. Riggins, 28, strangulation, domestic assault and battery; Jessica E. Hatfield, 2y, shoplifting; Mary E. Finch, 40, shoplifting; Haven T. Price, 28, failure to appear
September 20 – Ariana E. Smith, 30, domestic assault and battery; Augustus R. Vaughn III, 39, threats to kill, assault on a police officer; Carrie A. Kendrick, 45, assault and battery; William S. Bentley, 24, failure to appear; Damion I. Hall, 19, possession of marijuana; Darren B. Rogers Jr., 24, obtaining money by false pretense, 2 charges of forgery; Antwan D. Pack, 21, obtaining money by false pretense, uttering, conspiracy to utter; Jordan B. Simmons, 27, 2 charges of forgery, petit larceny, possession of a controlled substance
September 21 – Jeremiah S. Perdue, 34, failure to appear; Ballard L. Robbins, 31, violation of a protective order; Anthony D. Dickson, 29, shoplifting; Michael D. Mathena, 54, interdicted person
September 22 – Amri L. Enger, 27, domestic assault and battery; David M. Gibson, 35, strangulation
September 23 – Ahmee G. William, 18, petit larceny
September 24 – Fernando Balthazar, 54, domestic assault and battery; Simpson G. Terry, 33, possession of marijuana, public intoxication

September 20 – Obtaining money by false pretense, conspiracy to utter, uttering, 100 block of Electric Road; forgery, uttering, 0 block of E. Main Street
September 21 – Possession of a controlled substance, 100 block of Electric Road
September 22 – Strangulation, 2700 block of W. Main Street
September 23 – Burglary, 100 block of Sheraton Drive; grand larceny, 200 block of Electric Road
September 24 – Property damage, 100 block of Kimball Avenue
