 The Salem Police Department reported the following people were arrested and charged February 12 – 18. Arrest indicates an accusation and defendants are presumed innocent unless found guilty in court. Police do not release the names of persons under the age of 18.

Those arrested and their charges were listed as:

February 12 – Elizabeth A. Casey, 46, forgery, obtain goods by false pretense; Ralph E. Alls, 30, shoplifting, conceal merchandise; Chand M. Timberlake, 33, public intoxication, obstructing justice; and Gregory W. Evans Jr., 45, public intoxication.

February 13 – Carlos M. Hopcroft 28, shooting into occupied dwelling, reckless handling of a firearm; and Heather A. White, 44, failure to appear.

February 14 – Anthony L. Miller Jr., 30, contempt of court; and Wesley S. Shirkey, 31, unauthorized use of vehicle, evading police.

February 15 – Juan A. Leon, 18, carrying concealed weapon; contributing to delinquency of minor; Stone W. Ham, 18, violation of probation; Antonio M. Leftwich, 36, possession of controlled substance; Michael L. Burge, 27, fugitive of justice; and William J. Jarvis, 56, public intoxication.

February 16 – Phillip W. Epperly, 45, public intoxication, possession of marijuana; Travis E. Jones, 34, assault and battery; Richard J. Viar, 40, shoplifting; Christopher L. Tucker, 33, shoplifting; and Howard E. Gregory, 25, assault and battery.

February 17 – Elyssa S. Waldman, 25, obtain goods by false pretense

February 18 – Jose A. Monoz, 46, violation of protective order
