Arrests – June 1st, 2017

 The Salem Police Department reported the following people were arrested and charged between May 23-29. Arrest indicates an accusation and defendants are presumed innocent unless found guilty in court. Police do not release the names of persons under the age of 18.

Those arrested and their charges were listed as:

May 23 – Karen J. Creasy, 48, public intoxication; Michael J. Zarobinski, 25, public intoxication; Gary A. Wimmer Jr., 42, driving on suspended license

May 24 – Stephani V. Horan, 30, public intoxication; Michael M. Sinclair, 49, malicious wounding, felony larceny; Benjamin N. Richardson, 27, 2 charges of possession of a controlled substance; Bailey K. Hall, 21, shoplifting; Dylan T. Miles, 24, public intoxication; Dane D. Riffe, 34, contempt of court; Simon P. Scott, 22, driving under the influence

May 25 – Freddie D. Trusclair Jr., 20, failure to appear; Ronald W. Fulton III, 32, possession of a controlled substance; Chalwea M. Shinault, 28 shoplifting; Courtney B. Hayes, 40, shoplifting; Tracy L. Clark, 51, driving on suspended license

May 27 – Justin W. Knapp, 28, domestic assault and battery; Logan J. Dowell, 18, possession of marijuana; Christie P. Hudson, 39, driving under the influence, hit and run; Alexander B. Tashe, 19, driving under the influence, possession of marijuana; Terence B. McKinney, 31, possession of marijuana

May 28 – Matthew R. Glosser, 33, public intoxication; Wesley T. Glosser, 33, public intoxication; Michael W. Reese, 36, public intoxication; Lansana Sesay, 29, violation of a protective order

May 29 – Craig S. Bassett, strangulation, domestic assault; Scott L. Woodhouse, 46, obstructing justice, indecent exposure; Karen R. Barton, 45, public intoxication

 

Also reported were the following felonies:

May 23 – Grand larceny, 1300 block of Stoutamire Drive

May 24 – Strangulation, 400 block of Craig Avenue; sexual assault, 100 block of Kimball Avenue; assaunt and battery of law enforcement, 0 block of Otter Avenue

May 25 – Shoplifting, 1800 block of W. Main Street; strangulation, 400 block of Yorkshire Street

May 26 – Grand larceny, 1400 block of W. Main Street

May 28 – Abduction, 400 block of Yorkshire Street

May 29 – Grand larceny, 1200 block of Lynchburg Turnpike
