The Salem Police Department reported the following people were arrested and charged between May 8-21. Arrest indicates an accusation and defendants are presumed innocent unless found guilty in court. Police do not release the names of persons under the age of 18.

May 8 – Isobel I. Gasic, 31, failure to appear; Vincent R. Coronado, 28, shoplifting; Cory D. Akers, 20, possession of marijuana; Albina V. Moreva, 29, public intoxication; Ronnie H. Pannell Jr., 37, evading police; Michael G. Mundy, 22, possession of marijuana; Beverly H. Bendrick, 63, DUI; and Angela D. Woolwine, 29, possession of a controlled substance.
May 9 – James C. Whyte, 42, possession of marijuana; Joy E. Hendricks, 25, public intoxication; and Sheena M. Nichols, 25, embezzlement.
May 11 – Kristin M. Owens, 27, DUI; Donnell L. Sanders, 30, accessory after the fact; Shaun P. Vermillion, 26, possession of controlled substance; Kenneth W. Dickerson, 22, domestic assault and battery; and Demetrius N. Evans, 29, accessory after the fact.
May 12 – Sharon L. Maxey, 53, public intoxication; and Brian L. Chandley, 23, public intoxication.
May 14 – Brandon M. Mitchell, 26, public intoxication; and Timothy L. Harris, 28, violation of probation.
May 15 – Lacy D. Hodges III, 36, domestic assault and battery.
May 16 – Joseph S. Gabris, 30, DUI; Jermiah D. Summers, 29, failure to appear; Daryl L. Harris, 48, damage property; Philip M. Divers, 24, possession of marijuana; Harold S. Lynskey, 45, contempt of court; Matthew S. Agnor, 35, failure to appear; Joshua K. Johnson, 36, fugitive from justice; Jason A. Williams, 34, possession of controlled substance and domestic assault & battery; and Gloria D. Moyer, 33, possession of controlled substance and shooting into occupied dwelling.
May 17 – Garnett H. Duncan, 19, failure to appear; Joshua T. Weeks, 32, possession of marijuana; and Dakota S. McDaniel, 19, failure to appear.
May 18 – Joshua M. Chaney, 37, DUI; Zachary M. Mundy, 25, assault and battery; Demetrius N. Evans, 29, attempted 2nd-degree murder and reckless handling of a firearm; and Brandy N. Litteral.
May 19 – Corey M. Collins, 31, public intoxication; Samantha L. Flannagan, 29, domestic assault & battery and contributing to delinquency of a minor; Scott E. Flannagan, 31, domestic assault & battery and contributing to delinquency of a minor; Corey M. Collins, 31, criminal trespass; and Logan T. Rich, 24, public intoxication.
May 20 – Logan T. Rich, 24, threat to burn; Kevin A. Dougherty, 34, shoplifting; Jordan E. Lynch, 30, public intoxication; Joseph S. Gabris, 30, failure to appear; and William R. Pryse Jr., 19, DUI.
May 21 – Roberto G. Mansion, 51, failure to appear; and Stanley C. Whitman, 31, abduction and sexual assault.
