Another NCAA basketball champion has been crowned and it’s time to announce our annual Steps to the Championship winner. It’s former Glenvar High basketball star Cammi Beason.

Cammi missed just 13 games out of 63 possible on her bracket, and she even had North Carolina to win it all. No one else in the contest did better than 15 misses, so she won it easily among a big stack of entries that I corrected on Monday night.

For her great prognosticating Cammi wins a $50 gift card from Mac & Bob’s as well as a year’s subscription to the Salem Times-Register. Congratulations, and give me a call next year before I fill out my bracket.
