BUCK, Jalene K. | Fincastle Herald

In Heaven, she will be reunited with her loving husband and parents. She was preceded in death by her parents, James Alva and Lois Flora King, and husband, Milton L. “Bill” Buck. Jalene was an active member of First Baptist Church, a volunteer with RAM House and the City Rescue Mission. Mrs. Buck was a member and Queen Mom of the Honeybees Chapter of the Red Hat Society, and a member of the Roses.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Ann and Mark Hatcher of Cloverdale; son and daughter-in-law, Eric and Sherry Buck of Wirtz; two grandchildren, Leah Hatcher and Whitney Anderson; one great-granddaughter, Aleah Marie Anderson; brothers, Jim King of Roanoke, and Fred King and wife Pat of Roanoke; and a host of loving supportive friends.

The family wishes to thank the caring staff of Fresenius Dialysis Center—Friendship.

Funeral services were held at noon Thursday, Dec. 29, at Oakey’s North Chapel. Interment was in Sherwood Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to the Roanoke Rescue Mission, 402 4th Street, S.E., Roanoke, 24013. Condolences may be made to www.oakeys.com.
