The Hidden Valley Country Club swim team ended their regular season with a meet at Forest Hills against the Oscars and VAST.  There were lots of personal bests and two Blue Wave records were broken by Daniel Byrnes in the 13-14 men’s 50 Back and 50 Fly.

Other highlights included Madison Gee, who earned two first place Gold ribbons in the girls 6 and under 25 Fly and 25 Back. Caleb and Kaylee Hagadorn both earned first place Gold in the 11-12 girls and boys 50 Fly and 50 Back.

Byrnes earned two first place Gold ribbons in the mens 13-14 50 Fly and 50 Back.  He also broke two longstanding HVCC records in the 50 Fly 29.75 and 50 Back 31.03. Trey Lowe earned two first place Gold awards in the men’s 17-18 50 Fly and 50 Back.

Mary Catherine Yeakel, Kathleen Thorell, and Whitney Smith all earned first place Gold ribbons in the adult 50 Fly.

The Blue Wave ends their season next weekend, July 28 and 29, at the Christiansburg Aquatic Center for the City-County Championship Meet.
