He is also survived by his brother, Mark Camper of Charlotte, N.C.; and sisters, Gail (Walt) Barker of Vinton, Chloe (Bobby) Simpson of Eagle Rock, and Susan Camper of Roanoke.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the memorial service that will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, January 8, in the Buchanan Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home, 14920 Lee Highway, Buchanan, with the Rev. J. R. Graybill officiating. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice. Online condolences may be made at www.botetourtfuneralhome.com
