The city of Salem will host its annual Easter Egg Hunt on Thursday, March 26, at Salem Memorial Ballpark, home of the Salem RidgeYaks.

The free event will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. on the ballpark’s playing surface. Egg hunts will be held every 15 minutes, with approximately 25 children and parents participating in each session to help ensure fair opportunities for participants.

Children ages 3 and 4 will hunt eggs on a special “Mini Fenway Field,” while older age groups will search for eggs on the main baseball diamond. Children must participate in their designated age group. Parents may accompany their children into the hunt area, but only children will be allowed to collect eggs.

The event will include crafts, inflatables, balloon animals and visits with the Easter Bunny. Stadium concessions will be available, and free parking will be provided.

Sponsors for the 2026 event include Renewal by Andersen and the Salem Kiwanis Club. Vendors will include Creative Expressions Face Painting, Little Critters Petting Zoo, Whimsical Wishes Character Experiences and MousePros Travel Agency.

The event will be held rain or shine at Salem Memorial Ballpark, 1008 Texas St.
