Fairgoers take in the sights, sounds and flavors of the 37th annual Salem Fair, which continues through Saturday, July 13, at the Salem Civic Center and Taliaferro Complex. From high-flying thrill rides and family-friendly attractions to nightly concerts, food vendors and free shows, the fair offers something for everyone.

New features this year include the All-American Pig Races, Disc Connected K9’s, and a mind reading and hypnosis show by Catherine Hickland. Returning favorites like Danny Grant’s Cowboy Circus and Hilby the German Juggling Boy also drew crowds throughout the week.

Fireworks lit up the sky on July 4, and nightly concerts continue through the final day. Admission is free, and ride wristbands are available for purchase with daily specials. The fair is open Thursday and Friday from 4 to 10 p.m. and Saturday from noon to 10 p.m.
