Roanoke County– Roanoke County welcomes back Food Truck Thursdays this spring. The highly anticipated event returns with its spring edition, promising a fusion of flavors and cuisines at not one, but three rotating parks: Green Hill Park, Walrond Park and Merriman Soccer Complex.

Scheduled to kick off on April 11 at Green Hill Park, attendees can expect a wide range of food options, from Puerto Rican or Asian cuisines to seafood and hot-pressed sandwiches, alongside American classics like BBQ and cheeseburgers.

“Food Truck Thursdays is the perfect way to try new foods while exploring Roanoke County parks,” said Kelly Brammer, assistant director of tourism. “We’re excited to offer something for everyone while they enjoy the great outdoors on their lunch break.”

In addition to mouthwatering food, attendees can take in the peaceful surrounding of these scenic parks. While seating will be available, feel free to bring a picnic blanket and enjoy the park your way.
