Have a great time with the family and support a great cause by attending the Fourth Annual Spring Carnival Fundraiser on June 2, 2018, at Infinity Acres Ranch, 136 Joppa Road, Ridgeway, VA, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

“Families are welcome to spend the day with us and learn more about the wonderful programs for children, families and organizations, as well as adults with disabilities that are offered here,” said Laura Steere, executive director of Infinity Acres Ranch.

Admission is $1 per person and includes refreshments, a petting animal area and music. For just $5, kids’ activity wristbands are available with prizes and include access to the “Dunk a Doc” booth, face painting, corn hole and more. Children’s activities also include walking a llama.

New this year are hay wagon rides for $2. For just $7, youth can purchase a wristband that includes all games and unlimited rides.

Co-founder Rick Steere said, “This is a rain or shine event (but not thunderstorms) – and we’re hoping for shine. This year’s event is even bigger and better than last year, and we hope the community will come out and support Infinity Acres Ranch. We want everyone to know about our tours, Animal Adventure Camp, community service opportunities and the ENABLE (Enriching Nurturing Animal Based Learning Experiences) program.”

A variety of vendors will be at the carnival, ranging from homemade crafts to Llama Personalized crafts, Paparazzi, Princess, DoTerra Essential Oils & hand massages and more. The Martinsville-Henry County Coalition for Health and Wellness will be offering free screenings to carnival attendees.

Friends of Infinity Acres Ranch is an educational non-profit that utilizes a variety of exotic and domestic animals as the teaching medium. Interactive animal activities enhance learning, make emotional connections and offer therapeutic mentoring experiences.

“This carnival helps to bring the community together in a positive way and to showcase area resources,” Laura Steere said.

She added that the Infinity Acres team feels that this is a great way to welcome the community to Infinity Acres Ranch, so that they can learn about all the educational opportunities offered there with the animals and outdoors.

“The carnival is a great family event,” Laura said. “We’ll have so much for the community to do – animals, vendors, games with prizes and a variety of vendors. Plus, who wouldn’t want a chance at ‘Dunk a Doc?’”

She said she is looking for vendors to participate in the carnival. To find out more information or to register as a vendor for the carnival, call (276) 358-2378 or email infinityacresva@gmail.com.
