The Stonegate Swim Team had their last home meet of the season on Monday as the Ashley Plantation and Roanoke Country Club provided the opposition. Left, Morgan Griffith of the Gators is off the blocks for a “big, beautiful dive.” Morgan, a member of the United States House of Representatives, has been “Making Stonegate Great Again” as a member of the team since 1966. Above, Ava Ortega swims the freestyle for Stonegate. The Gators will be at Read Mountain next Monday, July 7, for their final Monday night meet of the Roanoke Valley Aquatic Association season.
