The Glenvar tennis teams will take on Giles Thursday night as the regular season nears an end. The boys will be home and the girls will be at Giles.
The boys are 7-6 overall after splitting Three Rivers District matches last week. The Highlanders beat Radford at home, 9-0, but lost at Alleghany, 5-4. Seth Crouch won his singles match against Alleghany and Glenvar swept the doubles.
“We’re struggling at singles but we’re really good at doubles,” said Glenvar coach Mark Rohrback. “Giles is going to be a big match. We beat them 5-4 at home and the matches were close.”
