The Lady Highlanders of Glenvar Middle School extended their undefeated season by capturing their second consecutive Cosmopolitan Invitational track championship at William Fleming High School last weekend. The Lady Highlanders finished with 127 points to outpoint second place Northside by 58 points.

Glenvar’s Ava Poindexter wins the 100 meter hurdles.

Ava Poindexter led the way with a dominant performance, winning the 100 hurdles (15.83), 300 hurdles (49.76), long jump, triple jump, and high jump while also placing third in the 100 dash. She earned both Field Event Athlete of the Meet and Top Female Runner of the Meet honors.
