Ed Green’s “Great Beginnings” program for three to seven year old children will begin this Sunday and continue for five weeks.

The program is a chance for kids to get a head start on recreation sports, learning rules and sportsmanship while accompanied by their parents. Green is conducting programs for both football and soccer at the West Salem Elementary School playground. The football program runs from 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm and the soccer program is from 2:45 to 3:45 pm.

The programs are sponsored by the Salem Department of Parks and Recreation and cost is $65 for a parent/child group. To sign up call Ed Green at 387-9516.
