Glenvar senior Sophia Hammersley, with parents Charlie and Paige Hammersley, received the Highlander of Honor Award at last Friday’s home opening football game against Galax. The annual award goes to the student exemplifying Highlander spirit, kindness to fellow classmates and Academic Achievement.
