Nancy C. Hartley, 91, of Roanoke, went to be with the Lord on Monday, May 8. She was a longtime member of Cave Spring United Methodist Church, and a member of the Women of the Moose Roanoke Chapter 1022.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Cyrus Jacob Carmack, Sr. and Amy Falls Carmack; husband, Charles K. Hartley, Sr.; and brother, Cyrus Jacob Carmack, Jr.

Her surviving family includes her children, Rose Jenkins and husband, Mike, Mary Rogers and husband, Tim, and Chuck Hartley and wife, Melinda; grandchildren, Michelle Palleria and husband, Bob, Darren Jenkins and wife, Kelli, Amanda Hamilton and husband, Kirby, and Rebecca Noble and husband, Jacob; great-grandchildren, Peyton and Camden Hamilton, Matthew and Jacob Palleria, and Owen and Harper Jenkins; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friend, Becky Albert.

The family received friends at 10:15 a.m. on Thursday, May 11, in the John M. Oakey & Son Chapel in Salem followed by a funeral service at 11:30 a.m.  Interment followed at Cedar Lawn Memorial Park in Roanoke.  Pastor Rick Elmore officiated.
