The Roanoke College women’s lacrosse team saw their season come to an end in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference semifinal round last Friday. The Maroons lost a heartbreaker, 10-9, to Shenandoah University in Winchester.
With the loss Roanoke finished the season at 12-7 overall and 8-2 in the ODAC. Shenandoah went on to play in the tournament final and lost to Washington & Lee, 14-6. W&L will be the only team to represent the conference in the NCAA Division III tournament, which concludes with the semifinals and finals at Kerr Stadium in Salem on May 22 to 24.
