Franklin County Master Gardeners Alba Papa and husband Bill hold a copy of their landscaping book, “101 Tried and True Plants,” after speaking to the Salem Garden Club on Feb. 15 about “Cultivation of Culinary Herbs.” The Papas came from their Bedford County home to give the talk, which included images of their garden and tips on growing and using herbs from arugula to thyme.
