March 7, 1957 – April 23, 2022

Mark A. Jarrett, 65, of Roanoke, passed away peacefully and entered eternal rest on April 23, 2022. He was a master electrician and dedicated 37 years working for Jarrett Electric Company, a family-owned business. Mark was also an avid golfer, had a passion for scuba diving, and especially loved spending time with his grandson, Landen Fisher. The pair enjoyed frequent visits to Lake Spring Park (Duck Pond) in Salem, Virginia.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Norman and Carol (Carol Dean) Sorrels Jarrett. Mark is survived by the love of his life, Katrina Jarrett; daughter, Cathryn Fisher, and husband, Ryan; son, Justin Jarrett; and grandson, Landen. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2022, at 11 a.m. at John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home in Salem with pastor Jimmy Pentecost officiating.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations in Mark’s memory be sent to either the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association. Condolences may be expressed to the Jarrett family by visiting www.johnmoakey.com.
