Hurricane Harvey
In response to the destruction of Hurricane Harvey, we are encouraging all donors to donate blood as soon as possible. Blood donations have declined in areas impacted by the storm as donors have been evacuated, donor centers closed and drives cancelled.
Virginia Blood Services will make a donation on behalf of all donors who donate between September 1 and September 15 to an emergency relief fund to help the victims of this disaster. Your blood drive will not only go towards supporting lives in need, but also those affected by this catastrophic event.

9/7/17 Virginia Western Community College Student Life Center 10:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
9/8/17 Carilion ION 2331 Franklin Road, SW 12 – 4 p.m.

Paint bank says thank you
Belatedly, the Paint Bank Volunteer Fire Department, Rescue Squad and Ladies Auxiliary express a sincere thank you to everyone who donated food for the meal and items for our auction. Despite some fairly heavy rain during the auction, the event was a true success. Thank you to all.
