The Andrew Lewis soccer team recently finished their season with a 10-1-2 record, remaining undefeated until the final game of the season.
“It was a great year,” said coach Perry Manning. “This group of eighth graders contributed to 22 wins in the last two seasons. Captains Matteo Collins, Alex Rea, Carter Work and Matt Moore were all integral part of both seasons. They will be greatly missed.”
The Lewis defense posted eight shut-outs and the offense scored four hat tricks and a total of 44 goals. Two players scored in the double digits.
“We hope to return about 16 seventh graders next year and we look forward to another competitive year in 2019,” said Manning.
