Roanoke Valley Libraries, consisting of libraries in Botetourt County, City of Roanoke, City of Salem, and County of Roanoke, announced this week it has launched a new app, RVL Mobile, allowing patrons to take a Roanoke Valley Library with them on the go.
RVL Mobile features:
- Digital library card
- Catalog searching
- Manage library account and holds
- View and register for library events
- Mobile checkout
- Library hours, locations and services
- Meeting room bookings
- Online learning resources
With the app, patrons will have a one-stop-shop for library needs, including reading eBooks and eMaterials. The app works on phones and tablets. It can be downloaded from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
