The Roanoke College men’s lacrosse team bounced back from their first loss of the season with a 10-8 win over Grove City in Salem Tuesday. The Maroons are 3-1 with the win as they head to Delaware, Ohio on Saturday to take on Ohio Wesleyan University.

The Maroons lost for the first time last Saturday when 12th ranked Dickinson College took a 16-9 win over the Maroons in Carlisle, PA. The Red Devils scored the first three goals of the game but Roanoke countered with two Noah Bell tallies to cut the lead to 3-2 with 4:44 left in the first quarter. Dickinson scored the next three goals and went into halftime ahead 9-3 and RC never got closer than five goals the rest of the way.

Julian Kammerman led the Maroons with three goals on the day and added two assists. Patrick Cullen and Bell each contributed two goals.
