Roanoke College hosted over 23 track teams in the 2nd Annual Finn Pincus Invitational January 26-27 at the Cregger-Kerr Indoor Track facility on the RC campus in Salem.
Among the highlights for the RC women were the following: Jayna Jean-Jules earned second place in the weight throw with a mark of 13.37M; Caleigh Mckay finished fourth in the 1000M with a time of 3:24.93; Allison Barthol crossed the finish line of the 800M in 2:33.14 for third-place; Jennifer Barthol finished seventh in the 3000M with a time of 11:32.07 and, in the 200M, Quinn Harlan clocked a 26.41 good for a second-place finish.
Men’s highlights included the following: In the weight throw, Kyle Bland tossed a 13.07M to finish in fifth; Tanner Burton took third in the 60M hurdles finals with a time of 8.62; Aaron Rogers placed eighth in the 600M clocking a 1:28.91 and Howard Daniels took fourth in the 3000M with a time of 9:10.55, followed by Devyn Heron in eighth with a 9:21.22.
