The Roanoke College wrestling team will play host to Southern Virginia University tonight at the Cregger Center in Salem. The dual meet is sched- uled to begin at 7 pm.
This week Roanoke College freshman Cade Parent earned the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Heavier Weight Wrestler of the Week for the week of November 10. Parent won the 165-pound weight class Sunday at the Averett University Cougar Open. He won all five of his matches, three by pin and two by technical fall. His three pins each took less than two minutes. Parent scored a 19-4 technical fall win in 4:43 over Austin Marry of Belmont Abbey and a 21-5 tech fall win over teammate Alexander Quintano in 5:10.
The Maroons had 19 placers on the day, including three winners and five second-place finishers.
