Al McClearn, who was principal at Glenvar High School from 1988 until 2000, was
inducted into the William Fleming High School athletic Hall of Fame Friday night.
McClearn was a football star at Fleming, graduating in 1953. Here he’s introduced to
the crowd at halftime of Fleming’s girls’ basketball game against Lord Botetourt.
