Melanie H. Boles, 60, of Salem, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 5. Born on June 13, 1961, to the late Charles Edward Hickson and Vivian C. Caldwell, she was also preceded in death by her grandparents, Hillary and Florence Coleman.
Those left to cherish her memory include her loving and devoted husband of 33 years, Charles “Russell” Boles; daughter, Amanda Waldron and husband, DeWayne; son, Shane Boles; adopted son, Alan Coleman; sisters, Connie Deel and husband, Ron, and June Shay; brother, Steven Hickson and wife, Angela; grandchildren, Clayton, Kaiden, and Cambri Waldron; as well as several beloved nephews.
The family will receive friends on Friday, August 13, 2021, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at John M. Oakey and Son Funeral Home, 305 Roanoke Boulevard, Salem.
