Mixed results for Lewis, Glenvar middle school volleyball

Both the Andrew Lewis and Glenvar Middle School volleyball teams were in action in the past week.

The Woverines are 4-0 after beating Blacksburg in two sets Monday, 25-21 and 25-9 in Salem. Bailey Redford served 18 consecutive points for Lewis.

Last Wednesday Lewis beat Pulaski, 25-22 and 25-19.  Lewis also beat Central Academy, 25-22, 25-13.

Glenvar Middle School played William Bryd last week and lost 25-20 and 30-28 in a really tight set. The Highlanders are at home against Hidden Valley next Monday.

Lewis is at Blacksburg today and home to Read Mountain on Monday.
